It has been a long time since I’ve been in Wyoming. I met Morgan when she was a bridesmaid at wedding in Colorado I shot over a year ago, and I knew when she got engaged that I had to shoot her wedding! I flew in to Denver a few days before the wedding and drove from Denver to Casper, Wyoming. Anyone who really knows me knows that I am always up for a road trip. The drive from Colorado to Casper was absolutely beautiful and I only wished I had more time to stop in some of the little towns along the way. That really is one of my favorite things about being a destination wedding photographer, I get to see new places and cultures everywhere I go. Once I got to Casper, I completely immersed myself in this small town, that was similar in size to where I grew up. I walked around, found a local bar… tried some Wyoming whiskey {I mean, when in Rome, right?!} and just really got the feel of the town and what it is all about.
Back to Morgan and Adam’s wedding weekend…. During the morning of the wedding the girls got their hair done in town and the boys went to an archery range before going back to the bed and breakfast to get ready! Morgan and Adam got married at a beautiful bed & breakfast that truly overlooked Casper… it was spectacular. Gorgeous views, amazing sunsets, and a fun dancing group for the reception! Since I was staying at the same place as everyone else, at the end of the night, I stayed a bit and hung around the campfire, which was probably one of my favorite moments. It’s always fun to get to know people, and get some fun shots while we are at it! One reason I love what I do is getting to know people, and I definitely loved this couple and their friends and family. I can’t begin to say enough about both Morgan and Adam, they are both so caring and genuinely good people! I hope you enjoy the images below and if your planning a wedding in Wyoming, be sure to call us!
