I love Washington DC for lots of reasons. I have family that lives right outside of the city, and grew up going there occasionally as a kid and not as an adult. I love the history, the bars (wow DC has good bars) and the people watching. One of the hardest things about being a DC wedding photographer is the permit process for shooting around the city. There are lots of rules and paperwork to fill out, and luckily with Katy and Will we didn’t have to pull any permits. Katy and Will were married at the Sequoia Restaurant in DC… which just so happened to be right next to Shannon and Will’s rehearsal dinner that I shot a few months ago! And let’s talk about this amazing Georgetown area. It. Is. Amazing. Fun architecture, cute shops, and a great vibe all around. I love is being able to explore these parts of the city!
Check out some of my favorite images below and be sure to see all of Katy and Will’s images here… and Katy and Will, thank you for letting me be a part of your day!
