We are back in Colorado today for Ashley and David’s wedding, and I’ll just say again that I love shooting weddings in Colorado!
Being a photographer and shooting in Colorado is always so much fun especially when I get to travel to places like Boulder to shoot weddings. Boulder is a lot like where I live: it’s a little funky, and it has a great food and bar scene mixed in with some fantastic art. And I must say that I find the landscape in Colorado to be completely fascinating. From flat plains to rocky mountains and everything in between, you can always find somewhere fun to shoot.
Ashley and David’s wedding was about 15 minutes outside Boulder. It was on a gorgeous property with big trees and beautiful views. Ashley and David are both avid Cross-fitters and love lululemon, if you look closely all the Groomsmen are wearing lululemon pants and shirts. (so fun!) The weather held out perfectly…right up until they said ” I Do”… Their first kiss was punctuated with a thunderclap, and then it immediately started pouring. Luckily we caught a few minutes when it was just sprinkling to get in a few portraits before we went back in to dance the night away.
Check out some of my favorites from their wedding below and be sure to check out the whole gallery here.
Don’t you love these rings?
But first… A selfie!
I love this moment when a bride is getting ready to walk down the aisle!
