There’s lots of things I love. Being a wedding photographer that travels, exploring new places behind the lens and shooting clients that I love in those new places is at the top of the list. I have known Amy and Trent for some time now, and I love spending time with them, so I knew their intimate Pismo Beach, California wedding would be one for the books! One of the best feelings is getting to know a family and their friends, and reuniting with them at different weddings!
I have shot Amy’s (the bride) brothers wedding in Arizona, her best friend’s wedding in Chicago, and Trent’s (the groom) brothers wedding in La Jolla, California. Needless to say, it was so nice seeing so many familiar faces! Pismo Beach is absolutely beautiful and it is a part of California that I had not been to. There were so many cool places to shoot! Awesome little beach town, and perfect for some fantastic views. Mother Nature worked with us on the rehearsal day, but had a mind of her own on the wedding day. One of the reasons I love to be there a little early is that we were able to have the time to grab a couple of awesome shots on the beach before the rain came in.
