destination wedding photographers | herb & rick!

We are destination wedding photographers, and we love getting to travel the world and capture our couples’ love stories…but sometimes we get to shoot in our own backyard, and that’s pretty amazing, too! Herb & Rick’s  wedding in Asheville, NC, was a lovely local experience, and we are thrilled that we had the opportunity to capture their amazing event.

The reception was at the Grand Bohemian, an absolutely fantastic boutique hotel. (If you’re ever in Asheville, you have to at least have a drink in the bar…the vibe is fantastic!) The rooms there are so lovely, and it was amazing to have a chance to capture Herb and Rick in their honeymoon suite prior to the ceremony.

After a bit of relaxed snuggle time in the room, we hopped on a party bus for the short drive over to the church…

and then it was go time!

We wrapped up at the church, and headed towards the Bohemian for their reception. Biltmore Village is such a lovely area, so the scenic route was required. We found a couple adorable places to shoot, so we had a couple of snuggle breaks on the way.

The reception was fabulous…as was to be expected of any event that Nicole from Verge Events is involved in. Their events are beautifully designed, and we always know things are going to smoothly when Verge is on our team!
