Paulina and Toby’s wedding celebration started off with a literal bang. If you haven’t yet read their Fourth of July celebration story, you should pause right now and do that 😉 As destination wedding photographers, we love having the chance to experience new things…and Paulina and Toby’s wedding weekend was full of fun new things 🙂 Day 2 started bright and early, and was jam-packed with activities on the lawn at Hawesdene. Beautiful setting…crazy day!
first up… an opening ceremony to kick off the day:
first event: golf pong. harder than it looks, y’all.
golf pong transitioned to an intense round of twister. these guys weren’t playing around 😉
and then it was off to the first rounds of sumo wrestling. it was hot, the sumo gear was heavy, and the competition was intense.
during the lunch break… they broke out the arts and crafts. this group can even turn arts and crafts time into an extreme sport! 😉
final event before the sumo wrestling championship? slip & slide egg race 🙂
the day’s events ended with the sumo wrestling championship games… the perfect way to wrap up these wedding olympics 😉
Paulina & Toby did such an amazing job creating an experience for their guests. It was so fun to see all of their friends and family get so invested in their teams and the competition. Shoutout to Verge Events who were on site to keep everything moving smoothly…give those girls whistles and there is nothing they can’t motivate people to do! Wedding planners…designers…Olympic judges. Nicole and Sarah rock!
More soon!
