We love being destination wedding photographers. We love that we have the opportunity to experiences new places on a regular basis. Even though we have had about a million destination weddings in Mexico, we have never shot two in the same place. We’ve just returned from two destination weddings in Mexico (with an amazing road trip in between…February was an amazing month 😉 ), and as we are working on editing those two weddings, we were reminiscing about Sarah and Jeff’s wedding in Cabo a couple of years ago…and we decided we should share a few of their images on the blog!
We’ve been able to experience so many different parts of the country, and each experience has been vastly different. Sarah & Jeff’s wedding at the Grand Solmar in Cabo was so lovely. The resort felt classic and lush, and there were so many varied backgrounds for us to utilize as we captured their day. Add in an amazing couple and their awesome friends and families, and we now have all of the elements needed for a fantastic wedding weekend!
we love a room with a view 🙂
big windows = nice soft light 😉
big windows also = dramatic light. whatever works 😉
Sarah and Jeff’s first look is one of our favorites…the location, the expressions, the fashion…it all came together as a perfect little package, just waiting for us to capture it!
right?!?
so many gorgeous shooting locations…
the ceremony site didn’t suck, either 😉
and just in case you were wondering… the reception location was stunning, too!
and you know what makes us happy? first dances that happen during golden hour 🙂
oh…and did we mention the beach was gorgeous? because, seriously…
(wanna know something else awesome about our job as destination wedding photographers? so many bitchin’ sunsets. Cabo did not disappoint!)
and finally… they partied. they partied well.
Well…we better get back to work 😉 A destination wedding photographer’s work is never done 😉
(much love to Sarah & Jeff…thanks so much for letting us be a part of your wedding!!)
